Off Season

Once fall ball ended for lacrosse I thought that was going to be it for lax untill January. Boy was I wrong. One week after fall ball ended we received and Email from our coach. The email told us we had to be stronger as a team. She set us up with a personal team trainer. We were told we had to weight room three times a week with our trainer. We started out having weight room mondays, wednesdays, and fridays. You think that is a lot. Well two weeks later we received another email from our coach telling us that our OFF SEASON were going to add in tuesday and thursdays into out schedules. If anything knew anything about weightlifting, it is not good to lift five days in a row. We ened up having Lifting monday, wednesday, and fridays. Tuesdays and Thursday ended up being conditioning. I dunno which is hard conditioning or lifting. Conditioning we do all different kinds of sprints. For example: 4-20 yard sprints, then 4- 40 yard sprints, then 3-50 yard sprints and then finish off with 4- 100yard sprints. That sounds hard but the weightroom isn't much easier. We do front and back squats while holding 109lbs. After the squats we do things called skater lunges also with 109lbs. Then we have all different arm and back exercises. After that we do some ab exercises. When we are finished with that we have to max out with bench presses. This trainer of ours is trying to turn us in to jacked guys. We are the Women's Lacrosse team, Im not really sure if he know that!! Its getting so fustrated i can't take lifting this much. If I continue on lifting this much, Im not going to be able to fit through a door way!
