Catch Phase

Has anyone ever play any boards with there friends or anyone? Well I play board games all the time. Usually I play with my friends at home. We play them when we don't feel like going out. But we play the games that we can have fun playing and being idiots together. We play like scrabble, scattergoies, cranium pop 5 and taboo. We always play from fun.
But at school its totally different. My friends Meghan, Annie and Jess decided we wanted to play a game call Catch Phase. It was Meghan and I verus Annie and Jess. Catch Phase is a little circular device that you hold that picks a word that you have to describe to your team. If you can't describe that word there is a button that you can hit that skips the word. You have to sit in a circle, but you have to sit next to two people that are not on your team. Once you get the word you a describing to your team you pass it to the person next you that one the other team and they have to describe the next word to their team. There is a timer that is part of the device. If it goes off when its in your hand the other team get a point. I never knew a game this fun can get so competitive. My own team mate was yelling at me for not describing the word quick enough. The other two girls were fighting. This game was supposed to be fun and everyone was freaking out. It was still a lot of fun but we were going crazy. The funny thing was the girls down the hall were playing another game and they were all fighting over their game. It was soo funny. What happened to board games being fun? I guess its not just sports that isn't fun anymore it anything with competition.
